Former 15th Round Pick Makes MLB Debut
Holland, MI Native Set to Play Outfielder
Blake Dunn has been called up to the Major Leagues by the Cincinnati Reds on June 4, 2024.
Dunn was a standout high school player at Holland Saugatuck High School before being drafted by the Reds in the 15th round of the 2021 MLB Draft.
He spent the first two years of his career in the Reds minor league system, where he played 48 games and hit .278 with a .447 on-base percentage and .556 slugging percentage.
Dunn has impressed in recent weeks, hitting .278 with five extra-base hits, 10 walks, and 14 strikeouts.
He joins three other Western Michigan selections in the Major Leagues and is set to make his MLB debut soon.
